Landscape Appraisal Services

Why have a Landscape Appraisal?

As with any asset, knowing the value of your landscape can help you:

  • Determine casualty loss for tort and insurance claims.

  • Establish value for real estate purposes, including sale and tax assessments.

  • Establish a basis of compensation for damage to existing landscape during site construction.

  • Decide an appropriate level of expenditure for maintenance.

Unlike most other assets, however, landscapes change over time. An up-to-date appraisal takes into account the types of plants present, as well as their size, condition and location. Keeping your landscape appraisal current is a great advantage when storm damage requires repair or property value is being determined.

FREE initial on-site meeting.

All professional compensation schedules are based upon the size and scope of the property and the detailed report required (minimum fee $150.00).

Note that insurance appraisals are usually paid by the individual's insurance carrier.

The best time to conduct a  landscape appraisal is prior to damage, but expertise is even more valuable when disaster strikes.

"Just as people may appraise the value of items such as jewelry, furs, antiques, and other valuable assets, it is wise to have a current landscape valuation done."
